The twelve half hour episodes of The Babious Show were produced, directed, acted and edited by Cindy Kleine, and hosted by a homely four inch stuffed monkey named Babious Monk. His guest stars include friends from his past and present, who create and recreate his history. Kleine is his “handler” and his voice as he cracks jokes and insults his guests with a rude and politically incorrect swagger, much like a latter day borscht belt comedian. With each episode, more about Babious’ sordid past lives and antics are invented and revealed. A cult classic of cable TV.
